I would like to thank Mr Maheson for the for the professional way I was treated from my first consultation to my final discharge.

I had my operation, total hip replacement by a direct anterior approach. The operation was performed on December 7th 2016 and I was discharged from hospital on December 8th 2016 after being assessed by the physiotherapist to confirm that I was able to cope with the help of my husband.

The pain that I was having from my right hip disappeared after the operation. I used crutches for 7 days, a walking stick for 7 days then unaided. I still do the exercises given to me by the Physiotherapy Department to strengthen my muscles.
